Questmark ("the app") is developed by Durable IT Solutions ("we", "us"). This policy explains how the app handles your information.
We collect nothing ourselves. Questmark has no user accounts, does not require you to sign in, and sends no personal data to us. We operate no server and receive no information about how you use the app.
Questmark is free and supported by advertising, and the advertising provider does collect device information in order to serve ads. That is described under Advertising below.
The progress you track (your playthroughs and checked-off items) is saved only in local storage on your own device. This data never leaves your device, is not sent to us or any third party, and is removed when you uninstall the app.
Questmark is free and supported by advertising. The app uses Google AdMob to display banner ads. To serve them, Google may collect and process device information, including an advertising identifier (the Advertising ID on Android, or the Identifier for Advertisers on iOS where you have permitted it), an approximate location derived from your IP address, and data about how you interact with ads.
That processing is carried out by Google as described in Google's Privacy Policy and in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services. We do not receive this information and have no access to it beyond aggregate totals of how many ads were shown.
Where local law requires it — for example in the EEA and the UK — you are asked for consent before personalised ads are shown. You can review and change that choice at any time from the About screen in the app. On iOS, personalised advertising also depends on the App Tracking Transparency permission, which you can change in the system Settings app.
The advertising identifier is not linked to your tracked progress, which never leaves your device.
The app contains no analytics and no third-party tracking beyond the advertising described above. We gather no usage statistics, no crash telemetry, and no profile of you. Apart from requesting ads, the app uses the internet only to open external links (such as this page) in your browser.
You can reset or delete your advertising identifier at any time from your device settings — Settings → Privacy → Ads on Android, or Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking and Apple Advertising on iOS. Uninstalling Questmark removes everything it has stored on your device, including all of your tracked progress; this cannot be undone.
Questmark is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone. Ads shown in the app are not targeted on the basis of any information about children.
If the app changes in a way that affects this policy, we will update this page and its "last updated" date.
